Toilet Paper Roll Art

I’ve seen a lot of toilet paper roll art in the DIY section of pinterest and I’ve always wanted to try it. After a lot of thought, I decided I preferred the “free-style” version rather than a fixed pattern. Additional material used (other than toilet paper rolls cut in 1 cm sections) : empty canvas frame, silver spray paint and glue.

Toilet paper rolls cut into sections and strips:

I shaped them into little swirls and flowers, applied glue and used clothespins to keep it together while the glue dried.

Spray painted the flowers + swirls with silver, then painted the canvas frame black. I like how the flowers have a “metal” look.
The finished result:

So fantastically simple and pretty – toilet paper rolls doesn’t have to be trash at all =)
Will continue on saving them, also have some bigger paper tubing that may come in handy quite soon…
