Learning to Crochet: the chevron / rippel stitch

I wanted to do a project using the ripple stitch, also known as the wave or chevron stitch.
Turns out it was really very simple. 4 dc, skipping 2 creates the lower point, 4 dc, v-stitch to create the high point (dc +chain+dc in the same space ), then repeat.

I am not sure if this will be a blanket, I may continue working with this project at a later point, I am not really a fan of large or time consuming projects so I need a little break after this one.
